Wrap it up
Excuse me, but if abstinence education can't keep the daughter of the evangelical governor of Alaska off the cock, what hope is there for the daughters—and some of the sons—of average Americans?

This came in handy even sooner than I imagined:

Exactly.

But wait! It's all okay because she is getting married instead of murdering her fetus at the clinic. Because a shotgun teenage marriage is such a good idea.

Maybe there's nothing else fun to do in Alaska?

I've never tried it myself, but I can totally see where turning into a living corpse and rotting my teeth right out of my head might be great fun.

But everyone who points this stuff out is just being anti-women!! Or anti-Republican! Quick! Someone call the waaaaaamhbulance.

Cheers to that. Why doesn't the Republican campgain change it's slogan to "Do as I say, not as I do."

Seems like it would work well for them.

I love Dan, but he's off the mark here. It is a misconception that Mrs. Palin supports abstinence education. As reported here, she believes that the use of condoms should be discussed in schools, and that the discussion does not fall under the category of "explicit." At worst, her views are unclear. Besides, abstinence education is really irrelevant in Bristol's case, as it's not the education she received. I really wish he hadn't said that, because perpetuating that misconception doesn't do much for his cause.

The argument that she appreciates her daughter making a choice when she herself remove the option for other women is spot on, however.

I agree that we SANE, CORRECT liberals need to be in top shape about fact checking. We're right enough as it is - no need to exaggerate. I published your correction. It was fun to talk about evangelical children being on the cock, though.

Wait, if Palin's daughter was abstaining from sex, then how'd she get pregnant? I don't get it. I mean, wha...?

Ergh... ow, I'm getting a headache... uh.. politics are fun.. Alaska is nice.. I like cake......

Ooh, wait, maybe it's immaculate conception. It happened once, you know, it could happen again. Our next Vice President might be the grandma of the Second Coming.
